By Train

La Posada owns the AMTRAK depot — it’s part of the original hotel compound — so you can arrive at our door from all over the USA. The train stops here twice daily on the Los Angeles/Chicago line. For details and reservations, call AMTRAK at 1.800.USA.RAIL or visit the AMTRAK website.

By Car

From the south
Take SR87, the old “Beeline Highway,” which connects Winslow straight to Phoenix. Plan on about a 3-hour drive. As you enter town, you’ll pass under a railroad bridge and emerge downtown on Route 66. Turn right on 2nd Street and then take an immediate right into our driveway.

From the east
Take Exit 255 on I-40 and go south (left) a short distance to 3rd Street. Turn right (west) on 3rd and go 1 mile to downtown. Turn left (south) at the light on Williamson (SR87), and then go left (east) onto 2nd Street, the next intersection. La Posada is on your right.

From the west
Take Exit 252 on I-40 and go right at the off-ramp. At the stop sign, turn left onto 2nd Street. You’ll go about 1 mile before you reach downtown. Go through the light at Williamson (SR87) and then immediately right into our driveway. You can also take Exit 253, again going south through a residential area about a half-mile until you come to 2nd Street. Turn left (east) and continue through the light at Williamson, then take a right into our driveway.

From the north (Hopi Land)
You’ll enter Winslow on SR87. Once you cross I-40, SR87 will end at 3rd Street. Turn right (west) on 3rd and go 1 mile to downtown. Turn left (south) at the light on Williamson (SR87), and then go left (east) onto 2nd Street, the next intersection. La Posada is on your right, so just turn into any of our driveways.
